Terms of service
The rules for using PointStack, in plain words.
Agreement
By using PointStack (pointstack.dev), as a signed-in user, a guest, or through the API, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
PointStack is a free planning poker tool. We may change, limit or discontinue any part of it at any time, with or without notice.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account, your guest session and your API tokens. Keep tokens secret; anyone holding one can act as you. Tell us if you think one has leaked, and rotate it.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you put into PointStack: stories, messages, estimates and the rest. You give us the permission we need to store, process and show it to the people you share it with, only to run the service. Anyone with a room link can join that room, so do not put anything in a room you would not share with them.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- break the law, or post content that is unlawful, abusive or infringes others’ rights;
- attempt to access accounts, rooms or data that are not yours;
- overload, disrupt or probe the service, or get around its rate limits;
- use it to send spam or malware.
We may suspend or remove accounts, rooms or content that break these rules.
API and agents
The API is offered as is, under the same terms. An agent you give a token to acts on your behalf, and you are responsible for what it does.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy policy.
No warranty
PointStack is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own copy of anything important.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, PointStack is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the service.
Ending
You can stop using PointStack and delete your account at any time from the account page. We may end or suspend access if these terms are broken.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date below changes when we do. Continuing to use the service means you accept the update. Questions: devdavedotdev@gmail.com.
